Last week FIFA 11 registered the third most successful multiplatform launch ever in the United Kingdom, behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV. It bested FIFA 10 by 21 per cent (units, value was a whopping 36 % up) in its first week, fell 63 per cent in its second week, but still managed to beat Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 by a comfortable margin this week. It also marks the first time since 2001 that the PES series has not debuted in the number one spot in the UK (it's also the first time since 2003 that the two adversaries launched within a week of each other). Dead Rising 2 continues to show strong legs, while Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West entered the chart further down the list.
