Many Overwatch fans on the internet have speculated that hero Symmetra is autistic, especially since an official comic asks where she is "on the spectrum," and now Game Director Jeff Kaplan has confirmed this is the case, via a letter to a fan asking about the hero.
"So I wrote a letter to Jeffrey Kaplan and he responded and confirmed to me that Symmetra has autism," Tumblr user and writer of the letter samtheultimatetransguy wrote. "He also sent me magnets and made me feel special."
