BAFTA has announced the nominations for the British Academy Games Awards 2017, with 50 games being nominated for a variety of categories, Uncharted 4 scooping the most nominations with eight.
These nominations include those such as Artistic Achievement, Best Game, Game Design, and Music, and Inside, Firewatch, Overcooked, Overwatch and The Witness are all close behind Uncharted 4 in terms of number of nominations.
The Awards will also see the AMD Esports Audience Award being given to a deserving title, with heavyweights like CS:GO and League of Legends being amongst those nominated.
Danny Wallace will host the ceremony, and he said: "I'm delighted to have been asked to host BAFTA's Games Awards, which are the very best and most prestigious awards. This year's nominations show, as always, the talent and hard work this incredibly exciting industry displays in all fields. I'm looking forward to being part of such an important night for games."
