Danish Zero Point Software have been working on their Interstellar Marines concept for years, releasing a bunch of prototypes for players to sample. Now the time has come to see what it's worth and attempt to crowdfund Interstellar Marines: The Prologue and for this Zero Point needs $600,000.
"Interstellar Marines: Prologue is a sci-fi FPS that offers a unique blend of tactical co-op, progressive role-playing, and nonlinear gameplay, featuring the intense backstory leading up to First Contact - the first game in our ambitious trilogy."
With 29 days to go the campaign has received $41,657 from 1,508 backers - so there's quite some way to go until the goal of $600,000. We like the ambition shown here, but Kickstarter can be tough if you're not a Tim Schafer, Chris Avellone or Brian Fargo.
Anyway, head over to the Kickstarter page to sample the prototypes, check out the campaign video, and so on...
