New York Times reporter Nick Wingfield recently posted a series of tweets about Switch sales records in the United States. The information was obtained during an interview with Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America. The launch of the new console was the best US launch in the history of Nintendo consoles. He adds that Zelda is the best-selling standalone launch title in the history for Big "N", ahead of the legendary Super Mario 64. Clearly the Switch is off to a brilliant start in spite of very little software on store shelves. Undoubtedly, sales will be even more impressive with the release of other highly anticipated games later this year.
