Social gaming giant Zynga, that have recently run into problems maintaining their revenue levels and as a result have come under pressure from the stock market are cutting staff and potentially closing down studios ahead of their next financial report (due later today).
Gamasutra reports that 100+ employees at Zynga's Austin, Texas office have been laid off. Apparently the Bingo and The Ville teams have been laid off, with the Slots team remaining at Austin. Joystiq also reports that Zynga's Bostin and Chicago studios are also closing down.
The full fallout of this will probably become apparent later on today.
