Namco Bandai has released a new patch which improves online connectivity in Tekken 7. Players have been reporting issues with the online multiplayer in Tekken 7 since the release last week. One of the biggest problems was connecting to other players in Ranked matches.

Namco Bandai says the patch improves the matching functionality and connections can now "be established more frequently". To do this the Matchlist is temporarily being removed. Also, player information (character, wins, rank, title) will no longer be displayed before a match.

Other improvements in the 1.02 patch are the option to turn voice chat off and Nina's Ivory Cutter attack has been corrected.
