Last week we reported that Humble's Freedom Bundle was launched, aiming to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Doctors Without Borders, and the International Rescue Committee, with every dollar raised up to 300,000 being matched by Humble.

The bundle had $600 USD worth of books and games for $30, and this must have been popular, as the Humble Bundle Twitter page revealed that $6.43 million was raised via the offer, not including Humble's own $300,000 match.

Does this prove that video games can be used for good and charitable causes?
