We're just a week away from the release of Horizon: Zero Dawn, and as you might know we've already played and reviewed it (hint: we liked it). The expectations from both gamers, retail, and Sony are of course high, but the question is if anyone has as high hopes as the research firm Superdata.
They predict the game will sell six million copies this year alone and then continue to reach no less than eight million copies. That would put it at the same level as major heavy hitters like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, both of these being parts of established series.
Sony is however pushing the game intensively and the competition this spring really isn't to fierce. Do you think this sounds like a reasonable prediction?
