When Watch Dogs 2 was released it was received with favourable reviews, but that didn't translate into solid sales, at least not in the beginning. However, due to strong reviews and positive word of mouth, sales have been picking up, so perhaps we can expect a third chapter in the series after all.
That begs the question - Where will it be set?
It seems the answer to that question is right around the corner. According to International Business Times, a new patch is out for the game, which essentially prepares it for the upcoming DLC, but hidden in there is an addition to the game's finale, a small conversation between two men:
Man 1: How much of this is hyperbole? Has it really gone global?
Man 2: There are new DedSec cells popping up everywhere. The Middle East, South America, Europe. And not just them. We can't even keep up with all the new hacktivist groups.
Man 1: Alright. Make the call.
Man 2: You Sure?
Man 1: Do it.
That does sound like a teaser for a third game, but while this conversation plays out, a set of coordinates are shown on one of the men's laptop. If you put these coordinates into Google Maps, it takes you to Brixton, London.
A Ubisoft representative pretty much confirmed it, saying: "The production team wanted to include a little something extra at the end of the campaign to expand the Watch Dogs lore and hint at the potential future of DedSec."
What do you think of London being the next playground for the series?
