Yesterday Microsoft reported their latest financials (July-September), and even if the corporation as a whole still maintains a tremendous profit $4.47 billion - it seems the Xbox 360 success train has slowed down significantly.
Only 1.7 million Xbox 360 units were sold during the quarter, half a million short of what was sold during the same period last year, and this brings the total to 70 million units sold to date. Microsoft puts the blame on fewer major releases, and as a whole the revenues for the Xbox division was down 24 percent.
We await similar reports from Nintendo and Sony in the near future.
