Ignition Entertainment have closed the doors of its London studios, laying off staff as internal development on Wardevil and Project: Kane has been finished. That's not to say these titles are closed to being completed, rather the Ignition London studio has completed a six month proof of concept development cycle and it is now up to Ignition to decide whether to proceed with full development (presumably outsourced).

Wardevil has been in development for a very long time, and has moved developers before. Ignition's most recent release was the mediocre downloadable shooter Blacklight: Tango Down, but their internally developed Japanese action adventure El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron looks more promising. It remains to be seen if Wardevil and Project: Kane will ever see completion.
