We're only two weeks away from Guerrilla Games' beautiful Horizon: Zero Dawn, and with so much invested in it, the expectations from the developers and Sony is of course big. Jon Edwards (Sony UK product manager) even said to MCV that the game has the potential of becoming a future franchice and that the female protagonist Aloy will be a future icon for Playstation:

"Nothing has been announced to date but I think there's a lot of potential for this to be an exciting new franchise for us. We'll just have to wait and see."

Edwards explains why he likes Aloy so much and says the she is a future Playstation icon: "Aloy is spirited, adventurous and driven to figure out the challenges that she comes across in this post-apocalyptic world inhabited by machines, you really buy into her as a tribal hunter and we think that the players will really enjoy playing as her. She's a PlayStation icon of the future."

Do you expect more Horizon games in the futures, and how do you like Aloy as a protagonist, judging from what you've seen so far?
