Back in the good old days of adventure games, Ron Gilbert and Tim Schafer created some of gaming's most adored gems - including the first two Monkey Island and the classic Maniac Mansion. During the last couple of years, Tim Schafer has been working with Double Fine while Ron Gilbert has been working together with Hothead Games on their Deathspank-games.
But now the dynamic duo is back together again, as Tim Schafer has hired Ron Gilbert. Exactly what Gilbert will be working on, or what title he will have, is not yet known but according to Schafer it will be a perfect fit. Double Fine is currently working on four projects, and Gilbert will be joining one of them. We can't help wonder what kind of glorious madness they will be able to come up with together...
