Another day is in the books and these are the top headlines.

With time ticking down Project Eternity became the most backed video game Kickstarter to date. A fresh batch of 20 games have passed through the Steam Greenlight process, and will be released on the service when they're finished.

Microsoft have handed out a limited number of pink slips at Lionhead as work on Fable: The Journey concluded. In more uplifting news a director's cut of Deadly Premonition is coming to PS3.

On the topic of free stuff we learned Call of Duty Elite will be free with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Singstar is also going free soon, sort of, and Minecraft gets a free update on Xbox 360.

A tweet from Human Head's Nathan Cheever confirms that while Prey 2 isn't outright cancelled it is "in limbo". In other Bethesda news industrious beta testers have found clues pointing to dragon mounts in the next Skyrim DLC.

GRTV brought us a bunch of diverse programming today including a personal interview with Steel Series' Kim Rom on the future of gaming, Cyanide's Yves Bordeleau talked about Impire, and IO's Christian Elverdam discussed Hitman: Absolution.

There's no middleground with Deadly Premonition. Love it or hate it.
