While the Pokémon Go phenomenon has quieted down significantly since its release last summer, the game is still doing well. According to analyst firm Sensor Tower, the game has now brought in worldwide gross revenue to the tune of $1 billion. This means it is the fastest game to ever achieve the milestone. A comparison would be Supercell's hugely successful Clash Royale which managed $550 million in the same amount of time (7 months).
The analyst estimates that while the game is a far cry from its best days where it took in an estimate $18 million in a single day, it still manages to rake in between $1.5 million and $2.5 million daily. Surely those are numbers that will once again rise as the second generation is fully unleashed.
