Last fall Nintendo released their retro console NES Mini Classic and it hardly came as a surprise that it was an instant hit. The consolde retailed for £50 and comes with 30 pre-installed NES classics. The console sold out almost immediately upon launch. Via Wall Street Journal technology reporter Takashi Mochizuki, we now know that 1.5 million NES Classic Mini were sold last year. Nintendo are now ramping up production to meet demand for the small retro machine.
