Every year we hear about Call of Duty selling like crazy, but Electronic Arts claims that more players are having fun with football on their console of choice.
The gigantic publisher has announced that FIFA 17 was the best-selling console game last year. With Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare being the best-selling game of 2016 according to the NPD Group. Of course, the NPD Group typically only covers the US market where football isn't number one (or should we say soccer?), and we're not sure why EA said "console game", does the extra units of Infinite Warfare sold on PC make a difference? If so, the race must have been really neck and neck.
