Despite many players thinking that the launch of Project Scorpio could somehow tarnish the future of the Xbox One and the Xbox One S, Xbox boss Phil Spencer wanted to reassure everyone that this is most certainly not the case.
In response to a question from by a fan, Spencer confirmed that both "Xbox One [and] Xbox One S will be supported for many years" to come, even after the launch of Scorpio. In short, it's clear that Microsoft won't abandon their existing platforms to focus exclusively on Scorpio, a console that will land at the end of this year.
Do you think this will stay the case after the Scorpio is released, or will that take centre stage?
