When Nintendo first announced the Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem mobile games they expected to ship them both last autumn. It didn't take long for Nintendo to realise that this wouldn't happen, so they delayed both of them to the first quarter of this year. We already know that Fire Emblem Heroes is coming this Thursday, but now we're told that Animal Crossing fans will have to wait longer than expected for their share.

Nintendo has just confirmed to us that the yet to be named Animal Crossing game has been delayed yet again. They can't give us any specifics yet, just that it'll launch in the next fiscal year. That means we'll see it in April at the earliest and next March at the very unlikely latest.

Would you have rather got the Animal Crossing game early, rather than Fire Emblem Heroes?
