Last October we learned that Fallout 4 would get mods and upscaled 4K support on PlayStation 4 (the latter PlayStation 4 Pro only). The mod support has been there for a while, and now it's time for the improved visuals.
There's a new update coming next week, and it'll include the improved PS4 Pro visuals. It'll then run in a native 1440p resolution, while also offering enhanced draw distance and god ray effects.
PlayStation 4 Pro isn't the only platform that is getting improved visuals. PC players will also get a chance to make the wasteland prettier next week with the free "High Resolution Texture Pack".
As if that wasn't enough, all platforms will get new mod content. Bethesda aren't ready to talk details just yet, but expect more details before the update arrives next week. Is Fallout 4 a game that will seriously benefit from improved visuals?
