If you were concerned that Splatoon 2 may not have a single-player campaign, then the latest news to come from Broken Joystick will no doubt be a relief, as a Nintendo rep has confirmed to them that the sequel will indeed have a single-player campaign, one that's set two years after the first.
The original did have such a story mode as well, so this isn't a huge surprise if it's true, but to be extra sure we'll need official confirmation from Nintendo. Is this an important aspect of Splatoon, or are you more interested in the multiplayer?
