US president Donald Trump has restricted access to the US for refugees and residents of seven Muslim-majority countries for a period of time, and this may well affect those attending the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, USA from February 27 to March 3. The official GDC Twitter has addressed this issue in a tweet, saying:

"GDC is a global community - we're horrified by the #MuslimBan. Of course we'll refund affected attendees, and keep fighting for inclusivity."

Some users tweeted in response saying that a switch to a different country in future may be worth considering. Would you say this is a good idea? And where should it be held instead?
