Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has already premiered in some parts of Europe such as Germany, while others like the UK and Sweden are having to wait until February 3. In the US it launched last Friday and during the weekend is was expected to make the series (comprising of six films) reach quite an impressive milestone, as it has now likely made more than one billion US dollars in box office (as reported by Deadline).
As the title reveals, it's supposed to be the final chapter, but with numbers like these and the success for Resident Evil 7, we wouldn't bet against having yet another Resident Evil film made sooner rather than later.
