If you were watching Firaxis' Pete Murray play Civilization VI's multiplayer in a certain Twitch stream shared on Reddit, you may have heard some interesting information mentioned by Murray.
The developer said that they are currently working on mod tools and Steam Workshop support, and that more information should be coming very soon, so if that isn't something to rejoice about, we don't know what is. Of course there have already been mods made, but official support will make it that bit more accessible.
