The Switch immediately captured the attention of all the players around the world thanks its truly innovative concept, however, its price is a focal point for many. However there may be good news from this front, because some users on Reddit have reported that several French shops are selling the console at a lower price of at 299 euros, including taxes, instead of 329 euros.

The stores in question are important retailer chains such as Fnac.fr and Amazon.fr, which apparently are opting for a more competitive price, even if at the moment it's unclear whether they're provisions dictated by Nintendo France or their own initiatives. It remains to be seen whether this reduced price policy will also be introduced in other European countries, perhaps to boost sales as soon as the console will be available on March 3.

Is this price reduction enough to make you consider buying the Switch, or does there need to be even more reduction before you get one?
