One of the extra modes in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the competitive Breach mode. Here we're tasked with infiltrating simulated environments to gather data for the highest bidder, and do this as effective as we can to climb on the online leaderboards. One of the ways you can make this easier is by earning booster packs and weapons that will tweak the gameplay. Sounds like a free-to-play concept, doesn't it? Eidos Montreal seems to think so too.
They've now released the mode as a free stand-alone game on Steam, and this version give us the option to spend real-world money or earned credits to buy booster packs, weapons, and premium skins.
Also available on Steam is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - VR Experience. This free download let us explore four of the game's environments and a selection of character models with an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive.
Which do you think is the better value as a free product - Breach or the VR Experience?
