EA is bringing FIFA to Nintendo Switch, and has promised that several other titles will arrive as well. It seems that EA is quite pleased to be working closely with Nintendo, and according to EA executive vice president Patrick Soderlund, it's because Nintendo forces publishers and developers to think differently.
In a new interview with IGN Soderlund applauds their different approach:
"What I like about Nintendo is that they come to the table with a slightly different approach. They've done that in the past to great success, and sometimes not so much, but I think unless you're willing to think about something unconventional, it's going to be hard to break ground."
