Just yesterday we shared news with you regarding the seven part DLC plan for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, with official word coming to us from Capcom with regards to its post-launch plans for the upcoming survival horror title.

Now we've got another bit of potential info for fans, and that's the possible release of free story DLC for all players at some point in the spring (maybe May). Famitsu (via NeoGAF user Dusk Golem) is reporting as much, although they don't have a huge amount of info beyond the name of this free expansion: Not a Hero.

They do say that Not a Hero won't star Ethan, that it will instead involve another character, and that it should flesh out the story a little. It also suggests that it will give us a "different taste" in terms of player experience.

We await more news with interest, but free DLC is always good news. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 24.
