Michael Jackson MMO revealed
You might know about Ubisoft's sing and dance-game Michael Jackson: The Experience, but there are more people that want a piece of the late pop icon's pie. SEE Virtual Worlds announced today that they are actually working on a virtual world based on Michael Jackson called Planet Michael.
Planet Michael is described as an "immersive virtual space themed after iconic visuals drawn from Michael's music, his life and the global issues that concerned him". The game itself will be housed inside the already available virtual world Entropia Universe and will be available as a free download. Entropia Universe is not known for its altruistic motives, so there's bound to be some money involved somewhere at the end of the day.
"Entire continents will be created that will celebrate Michael's unique genius in a way that underscores his place as the greatest artist of all time. Michael's long-time fans will feel at home, as they find themselves in places that seem familiar and yet unknown at the same time, and new generations will discover and experience Michael's life in a way never before imagined," the press release continues which just scares me more and more really.
