Despite the lack of frequent news regarding both Kingdom Hearts III and the Final Fantasy VII Remake, many of you have kept hoping that they would release some time this year. Well, Tetsuya Nomura has some sad news for you.
Famitsu had the honour of interviewing the games' director in this month's issue (Thanks, Hachima Kikou), and he said they've started production on some of the unannounced worlds in Kingdom Hearts III. They're also making progress on the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but Nomura-san says we'll still have to wait for quite some time for their respective launch dates.
None of the progress is in a showable state at the moment, but he hopes to show us something new later this. They really want to meet the high expectations, so he asks us to be patient while they work on the games.
Were you hoping for one of them releasing this year, or are you willing to wait for these highly anticipated games?
