Data miners always unearth some cool stuff, much like real miners, and a recent find on Reddit by user akhanubis, using data from the Overwatch PTR, reveals some potential romantic voice lines between Mercy and Genji.
"I got you some chocolates Genji. Swiss. They're the best," one line from Mercy says, to which Genji responds: "Thank you, Angela. Perhaps you could share them with me?" Another line involves Genji offering Mercy chocolates as well.
Could this also mean a Valentine's Day event? Well, no. Jeff Kaplan posted on the Battle.net forums saying: "We are *NOT* planning a Valentines or Easter event. So yes, you can expect cool events. But just to manage expectations Valentines and Easter are not those events."
Take from these voice lines what you will, but offering chocolates seems pretty suggestive of romance, don't you think?
