The upgraded Xbox One Scorpio is expected to launch sometime later this year, and to have games ready for launch, a lot of studios have likely started development knowing at least some of its technical specs. One of those who has been exposed to Scorpio is Frank O'Connor, Franchise Development Director over at 343 Industries.

He posted a comment on Neogaf regarding rumors about Xbox One Scorpio and wrote:

"Haha, although I probably "know" in that I might have seen it in a slide or something, it's literally not something I have time to think about now and I actually couldn't remember whatever specs I've been exposed to even if I was tortured. I literally couldn't leak or answer a question that went beyond "Can I do this? Does it support that? How many of these could it render?"

But he did have one thing to say about it at least, and ended:

"What I do remember is that it's beefier than I expected."

Sounds very promising, of course. Xbox One Scorpio will probably be shown at a separate Microsoft event during this year, as they did with Xbox One or when Sony revealed PlayStation 4 Pro.
