Yesterday Playground Games released a new update for Forza Horizon 3 that included the Rockstar Energy Car Pack. Unfortunately though that wasn't the only thing it brought.

Many PC players reported having severe technical problems, one of which was corrupt save files, after installing the update. The good news is that the developer reacted quickly and has now replaced the update with a bug-free version, however, players who have already downloaded the update should uninstall, then re-install it. The correct version ends with .35.2, while the corrupted one ends with .37.2.

Players who completed the download of .37.2 and then started a new game save will have a corrupted saved game. Playground says that we must avoid creating a new saved game on .37.2, and only play on .35.2. As long as you have an existing save and have not created a new one on .37.2, your saved game will work correctly once the update is available.
