Rockstar has announced some exciting news for fans of GTA V Online, and one of these is that "a rare snowfall phenomenon [is] hitting Southern San Andreas (and all forecasts calling for it to last throughout the weekend and into Monday)". Reading between the very obvious lines, this means there's snow in GTA V online.

Yes, if you're dreaming of a white Christmas, your wishes are now a reality, and you can do the usual snowball fights or skidding around in your car. "The Weazel News Weather Desk is also calling for more of the white stuff on New Year's weekend," Rockstar teased, "but urge everybody to stay tuned throughout the week for more details as they become available."

A new adversary mode is also being included in the game, called Juggernaut, where Behemoths and their teams fight against each other. Basically, you'll need to protect your own armoured giant while trying to kill the other team's, however, if the time runs out then sudden death rules come into force... and everyone becomes a Juggernaut. Until January 1 there is also double GTA dollars and RP in this mode too.

If vehicles are more your bag, Rockstar also has you covered, as a new Comet Retro Custom upgrade is also included in the Christmassy surprise. "Benny continues working hard through the holidays and just in time for Christmas, he's re-imagined the Pfister Comet - once a beacon of the champagne-popping San Andreas elite - into a gritty urban dragster suitable for the rough-riding drifters of Los Santos," the press release says. "Head on over to Benny's Original Motor Works or your very own Executive Garage Custom Auto Shop to deck out a slay ride of your own today."

If you're feeling festive enough to log in on Christmas Day you'll also find even more rewards, like the Unicorn Mask (which looks awesome), and either the Blue Check or White Graphic pyjamas. That's not all, though, as you'll also be given a fireworks launcher and 10 rockets, a carbine rifle an 200 rounds, a marksman rifle and 200 rounds, basic knuckle dusters, 25 sticky bombs, 25 grenades, five proximity mines, five molotovs, full snacks, full armour, and a partridge in a pear tree (okay, maybe not the last one).

As if all this staggering amount of content wasn't enough, if you log in today, tomorrow, or boxing day, you'll get a fireworks launcher and 10 rockets, not to mention a special event tee that Rockstar has chosen. From Christmas Eve to Christmas Day there's also 50% more GTA dollars on vehicle exports, biker business sales, and special cargo deliveries.

We'll be jumping into some Christmas content on GTA Online at 15:00 GMT over on our live page, so come join us! Which of these is the best Christmas present?
