It's been a wonderful year for Blizzard, who have received great reviews and sales for their game Overwatch. Now SuperData Research reports (via VG247) that it has done so well that it has actually brought in more money than any other game for PC during 2016 ('free to play' not included, only games and in-game sales are).

That means Overwatch has beaten giants like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Minecraft this year. Another interesting thing is that PC is way bigger in Europe than in the US (we bought $2.7 billion US dollars compared to $1.8 billion for North America).

Here are the top five earners for PC during 2016:

1. Overwatch - $585.6 million
2. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - $257.2 million
3. Guild Wars 2 - $91.0 million
4. Minecraft - $88.7 million
5. Fallout 4 - $74.9 million

Which of these did you buy?
