Christmas is the time of the year when we get new technology, but have a hard time using it because certain individuals like ruining the fun for others. Battlefield 1 was hacked just the other week, and PSN and Xbox Live are always popular targets, because people want attention... or something.
Yesterday we got a taste of things to come when a group who call themselves "OurMine" hijacked the Twitter accounts for Netflix, Marvel, and Captain America - and then posted stuff about security on them. The group says it was all a test (hilarious), but we're fairly sure they could have done this without sabotage.
Hopefully Netflix and other online services will work as usual during the holidays, and the accounts have been rightfully restored to the respective owner. Do you ever have issues with hackers?
