Third party support might not be that hard this time around.

Nintendo seems to be working hard to get some third party support for their upcoming console Switch, planned to launch next March. The Wii was very different compared to the rest of the consoles, and the Wii U had a slow CPU, which made several developers complain that it was really hard to make games for.

Fortunately, Switch seems to be a different beast entirely. In fact, according to famous video game analyst Michael Pachter, it is even "the easiest of the big three to develop for."

There have been plenty of sources claiming that converting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One games for Switch has been very smooth, and Pachter's comment makes it sound even more promising.
