Rockstar has officially confirmed that the Festive Surprise event for GTA V is now underway, bringing with it a host of Christmas themed content old and new.

The festive update will bring with all previous content from GTA Online Christmas events as well as few new presents for fans to enjoy. Players can get into the holiday season spirit by sporting one of a selection of Christmas themed jumpers, as well as many other themed items of clothing, which are available for free. There are of course a couple of themed masks available, including a Gingerbread man and Santa, for the bank robber who likes to spread some festive spirit during a heist.

If you are more interested in the reputation boosts then you will not be disappointed this year either. Players will get double RP and in-game currency in new Turf Wars Adversary mode over Christmas, not to mention triple RP for partaking in the latest stunt race, Plummet. If you are all about the money then they have got you covered as well because you can get up to $50,000 bigger rewards in-game when you sell off your stolen vehicles in the recent Import/Export update.

Last but not least you can also get your hands on two new car variants, which are the Truffade Nero and the Nero Custom. Rockstar has yet to confirm everything that will be available, but to round off what we know so far there will also be 25% off a selection of other items, including custom apartments and of course guns. Are you a fan of GTA V Online's Christmas content?
