The Steam Winter Sale start date has been officially confirmed in a tweet by PayPal UK. The sale will start on December 22, which is not only the date of last year's Christmas discounts, but also the rumoured date that leaked earlier in the month on NeoGAF.
Unusually, the tweet doesn't appear on PayPal UK's feed, but can only be accessed through a link that was emailed to people. It then prompts them to press a button to create an auto-generated tweet which contains the elusive date.
Through all these difficulties though the date eventually got confirmed, so now it is time for your wallets to take that last big hit before the big day, as no doubt this year's Steam Winter Sale will see as impressive discounts as usual. What do you want to see discounted?
