The speed has been adjusted, however.

Capcom has announced that their ever popular blue bomber Mega Man is making a comeback, but perhaps not entirely in the way the fans were hoping for. It turns out they have plans to release the original six Mega Man games from the NES.

These games were very hard to reproduce, and not particularly well-suited for touch controllers, and therefore Capcom says the games have "been optimized for the mobile devices with adjustments to game speed". The games will be released for both Android and iOS for $1.99 US dollars in the US, which likely translates to £1.99 in the UK.

Are you looking forward to playing Mega Man on smartphones? Do you think they will retain that special feel that once made them so popular with touch controllers?
