Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit debuted on the UKTV channel Dave earlier this year and it seems that it was a success, as Dave have commissioned Go 8 Bit for another two series. Dave said that Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit was one of the channel's five biggest shows of 2016.
Dara O'Briain returns as host as well as team captains Sam Pamphilon and Steve McNeil. Video game journalist Ellie Gibson also returns for the next series. The next two series of Go 8 Bit will consist of 10 episodes each.
