Ubisoft's The Division has gone through a lot. It was extremely popular when it first launched, but the player numbers took a nosedive shortly after. Still, Ubisoft hasn't given up, and the new Survival expansion raised the player numbers again. Now they're doing something will make them go up even further, at least for a few days.
It turns out that PC players will get to try the game out for free starting at 6pm GMT / 7pm CET today. All you have to do is download it from Uplay, and you'll then have access to the full base game and the various content updates, but not the expansions.
The offer ends at 9pm GMT / 10pm CET on December 18, so you'll have more than three days to make up your mind. All your progress will carry over if you decide to purchase the full game as well, and it might be worth considering as the game and its expansions are now 50% off on the Ubisoft Store. Is this something you'll be trying?
