The War Z beta details revealed

Arktos and Hammerpoint Interactive have today announced the closed beta for MMO The War Z will start on October 31. Two early purchase packages will be available meaning access could be available from as early as October 15.

The basic package, Survivor, will cost $19.50/£12.16 (until October 20, then the price goes up to $29.99/£18.71) and Pioneer will cost $29.99/£18.71 (going up to $49.99/£31.18) and will include in-game currency and early access to the alpha. Details are available here.

"Weve been working non-stop to tweak and balance the game to where we feel comfortable beginning to bring more players in," said executive producer Sergey Titov.

"We are now at that point, but this is where the real work begins. We want to work with our players to build and add additional features, remove those that they dont like and continue to evolve The War Z to be the best zombie survival-sim available."
