When Phil Spencer originally took the stage to announce backwards compatibility for the Xbox One, it was met with a thundering applause both from the crowd and online, and indeed it seems the Xbox audience has welcomed backwards compatibility, doing so in huge numbers.
Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer took to Twitter to announce that 300 Xbox 360 titles are now available to play on Xbox One, and that nearly half of Xbox One owners have used or is continuously using the service.
