Despite garnering positive reviews at release, Evolve failed to connect with a larger audience, and despite recently going free-to-play on PC, it seems that the game will never be the success developer Turtle Rock wanted it to be.
The developer has another project in development, however, and Turtle Rock Co-Founder and Creative Director Phil Robb has unveiled the first details to Games Industry.
The game will be an online cooperative first-person-shooter and it will contain "dark fantasy elements" according to Robb. The studio is also partnering with publisher Perfect World Entertainment, a company which specialises in free-to-play, and that's why this new game will be built with that business model in mind.
The game will debut sometime in 2018. What do you hope to see from Turtle Rock?
