Bruce Straley is not directing The Last of Us: Part II
Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us were both directed by the duo of Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, however, that will not be the case regarding The Last of Us: Part II. Straley has taken a sabbatical year after crunching hard, finalising two masterfully realised games in a row in The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, and will not return to the studio in time to work on Part II. This was confirmed by Naughty Dog during the weekend after announcing The Last of Us: Part II.
"Bruce recently decided to take some much deserved time off after shipping two critically acclaimed games in the last few years," Naughty Dog said in a statement. "He's looking forward to returning to the studio soon and jumping back in on his next project." What would you like that next project to be?
