Players rage quitting because of LGBT support in FIFA 17

Seriously.

EA has a solid track record when it comes to LGBT support, and recently they launched a rainbow kit for FIFA 17 to make sure everyone feels included. This was made at the same time the Premier League had their own Rainbow Laces initiative. Getting a free rainbow coloured kit for free didn't fly with everyone, however.

Lots of hate was aimed towards EA for doing this and J Station X reports that gamers have met people rage quitting when they face teams using these jerseys online. There are also videos on social media featuring upset gamers deleting the rainbow kit, and so on.

We assume this won't have any effect on EA, who has been highly praised for how it deals with these questions and always shows a rock solid support for the LGBT community. What do you think of this behaviour and EA's initiative?
