Start assassinating a bit early

Ubisoft have announced some details of the PS3 exclusive Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer beta. It kicks off on October 4, for those who have pre-ordered the standard, Auditore or Codex edition, and let's you play two modes for up to 8 players with 9 different professions on two maps.

Wanted - challenges players to get the higher score by killing their assigned targets and escaping their hunters in clever ways.

Alliance - allows players to compete cooperatively in teams of two, fulfill contracts and confuse enemies in tandem.

Both modes are playable on two maps - Rome and Castel Gandolfo.
