Final Fantasy XV is finally out, and overall, the reception seems to be very positive, but of course, not everyone is as thorough as Digital Foundry, who after extensive testing has discovered that each of the versions has their own set of problems.
First off is the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro version, which are suffering from uneven frame rates at times, which is largely due to the frame-pacing. This is, weirdly enough, especially evident in the PS4 Pro version of the game.
The Xbox One version does, however, have a smoother frame pacing, but it comes with a price. It only goes up to 900p, and it can go lower due to the dynamic nature of the resolution.
It seems that both versions suffer, but Square Enix is of course hard at work to remedy both issues with upcoming patches. Have you seen these issues?
